Here is a feature idea for friendfeed and the like:
1) Gather all the twitter/facebook/delicious/whatever feeds from the user’s friends. (Done.)
2) Analyse links (and shortURLs) to video sites and grab their embed code.
3) Create one stream of videos, that can be played like a TV program. (Kind of done.) Additionally, insert the friend’s comments / context before each clip.
4) User leans back and enjoys the show.
Advanced features:
- fullscreen
- check duplicates and aggregate comments for each clip
- group by topic/tag/group
- integrate with Apple remote control (when possible)
Monetization: Insert short video ads.
