When I think “Social Shopping” then I imagine something like this:
- I want to show off my lifestyle and feel like a trendsetter
- I want to tell my girlfriends what I just got for myself, and how and why.
- I like to point to pictures from the web and ask “where do I get this?”
- I want to have a bit of revenue sharing
- The whole thing is supposed to look beautiful.

The picture to the left is stolen from a news site, the one in the middle I took with my cellphone cam, the one to the right is taken from a shop.
I want to add comments to my pictures, maybe with affiliate links. These links should appear more or less automagically. Or if I am too lazy, other users should have the possibility to add comments with additional affiliate links. Those tagging users would get a rev share as well.
Rev share should be easy. Maybe even without sending money to the user, but instead sending amazon voucher to her email adress on request.
The concept would work with videos as well.
Oh, and there should be a variety of personalizeable themes (for example vintage, gothic, elle, swedish…) for the site.
If anyone knows a shop like this, please let me know. :-) If not, please build it and get rich and famous. :-P
